Useful acupuncture points for your pet – without needles
Energies, meridians, and effectiveness
Energies circulate through the body, influencing all bodily functions. When the flow of energy is disrupted, acupuncture can help restore balance and correct disturbances.
This is the premise of acupuncture, an over 2,000-year-old method from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
These energies flow through invisible networks called meridians. Think of these networks as a large and vital energy transport system. The meridians, for example, connect all of the body’s organ systems. According to TCM, therapeutic acupuncture points are located at specific sites along these meridians.
The effect of acupuncture for your pet – for example your dog, cat, or horse
Are you thinking of needles now? You can forget about them, as no needles are used with Vitarights – not for your pet (or for you, by the way).
If your pet is not feeling well, please decide whether to speak to your veterinary practice or a treating therapist first. We believe that in case of doubt, it is always a good idea. You can then easily handle the vitalization with the Beosigner® and BeoKey Animal Complete on your own. Independent of practice opening hours. This way, you can do something good for your pet, whether at home or on the go, whenever it is needed.

- KID-1 in dogs: on the hind limb, above the second to third toe, on the inside and outside of the paw

Complete meridians for the circulation of animals: can have preventive or stabilizing effects
Here is how to proceed:
- Start at your animal’s crotch.
- Work your way forward through the abdomen, moving along the entire front half of the body – up to the edge of the lower lip.
- Continue from the edge of the upper lip.
- Move over the head and along the entire spine, all the way to the tail or the rear.
- Then shift slightly to the side and complete the line at the point where you began.
You may be wondering why there is a stop at the lower lip, despite continuing along the upper lip?
There is a simple explanation: this ensures the Beosigner® does not end up in your animal's mouth. Because, yes, some of our furry companions can be rather food-focused!
